The property and the whole town was so fun! We are from Wisconsin and this is exactly what I expected from an old mining town in the mountains. We enjoyed all the gaming. The only problem was I had a hard time finding an ice machine that worked. It was reported and I hope it’s being fixed. That was the only small bump. The trip was wonderful!

No place to eat. Had to order food at sports bar kiosk. The staff at the sports bar food Cort

Some restaurants !!!! 👎 the only restaurant there was closed due to a fire. When we first arrived to the property we had to go outside and wait for the fire dept. we hadn’t even got checked in yet. Not a good experience. We were very very disappointed.
The facility only had 2 elevators working, we had to wait over 20 minutes for an elevator and they ended up being extremely crowded. Rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very friendly.

6 elevators and it takes 10 minutes for one to open. Key card will lock you out of your room the day of check out, even if it’s not checkout time yet.
Rooms were clean. Staff was horrible. The front desk guy tried double charging me when i arrived. Even after showing proof the room had been paid for. Kept insisting i was wrong. When i asked for a manager she corrected the issue, but seemed to have had an attitude and no apology for my time and inconvenience. Getting to the front desk is an adventure all of its own. You have to park in the garage. Go down the elevator, walk all the past the casino and around to check in
Pool area was unclean as well as the pool, and jacuzzis. Elevators are beat up dents and placards unreadable. Room had no coffee to speak off or any available at the hotel. Toilet would run water all night after use. I could go on but the use areas look old and used without necessary up keep. The parking is just a mess top to bottom. The Staff was nice. I will not stay there again. Two stars are generous.
Hotel is quiet as it's removed by a hallway from the noise of the casino. Nice rooftop pool and hot tubs! My only dissatisfaction was that the bed sheet covering the mattress was not fitted, just a flat sheet tucked in. The sheet wasn't big enough to avoid coming untucked so you ended up sleeping on a bare mattress...yuck.
Worst place ever!! Only stayed because of thought was a good price, should have known better. Main concern was didnt have to use the room card to access the elevator to rooms!!!! Was with my elder Mom and asked for a low floor and close to elevator, can give you a adjoining room, no thank you dont care if it locks from both sides. Was charged $7 more for the resort fee then was quoted, upon asking at front desk before leaving was told oh its just all the taxes. Should have asked for a manager. If you safety and security, this is not the place
The casino had closed off the 2nd floor enterance by the smoking and bus pickup area so guest had no access to the restrooms nor coffee at the hotel enterance.
Very inconvenient for hotel guest use !
As a senior this was awful.
Reason enough for me not to stay again.
Added so much more walking with a cane it made the trip overnight less appealing.
Desk staff were nice and helpful.
Could not use the hot tubs at adult pool hours as at 9:30 pm family’s had total use no open spot in outside hot tub nor the inside hot tub.
We reported it to desk staff they helped but that was at 10:00 pm.
We never could get use of the hot tub during our over night stay.

This was not my first visit to Amritsar. This time I found several things that made my visit very uncomfortable. The pillows in the room smelled like old sweat. I was glad I brought my own pillow. There were only a few elevators working which resulted in a lot of waiting. There was no hot water in the shower/sinks.
One bright light was the excellent food and service at the Fireside restaurant.

The rooftop hot tub (outdoor and indoor) and pool are fantastic. Staff was helpful and friendly. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Our stay was fun, and we plan to visit again soon!
Pool water was yellow, hot spa pool was not to hot and full of foam, understaffed, underwhelming, dated property that shouts out parent company don’t care. Lotta bummy types hanging around outside patios, especially in the morning, I don’t think I’ll be back.

The valet and bell services were great. It was nice to have the help with our luggage. All the staff we dealt with were very nice & willing to help. We dined at the Fireside Grill inside the hotel & the food was wonderful. I definitely would stay here again.

Only 2 (sometimes 3) elevators worked out of 6, waited almost 5 minutes every single time because there was so much people traffic on the weekend. Other than that everything else was fine. Very nice room with vaulted ceilings, fridge and comfortable beds

This hotel was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. We have never been to Blackhawk before and we were amazed about this little gem in the mountains. The buffet really was not good. Being our first time to the hotel we were told that it would be comped but it was not. Definitely not worth the $115 for 2 it costed. Kind of disappointing.
The tables and slots treated us well. The dealers were really cool and friendly.
Everything was amazing I would of given the staff a 5 Star but the housekeeper who came to door to check on if we left was rude and seemed in a hurry to get us out

We loved our room. Spacious, the bathroom is bigger n better than any i have stayed in, n i stay at the Marriott n Hilton hotels a lot. Bed is comfortable too.
I love the pool n hot tubs just wish my daughter would of been able to enjoy longer the 9pm for under 21

First off the room was very nice but that is where the good ends and the bad starts. Most irritating was the Timberline grill. The staff are rude, we were sat next to the buffet, cramped area. They want you to pay $80 for a steak ala cart. No way. Also the hotels policies are not conducive to actively gamble at the facility. No wait staff, limits on cocktails. Overall we will not return with a stay away recommendation
