"Nice private cabin near the resort (15 min walk, try the Italian buffet!) and a short drive from Lego House. The cabin itself was clean and well maintained but doesn't come with paper products or hand soap. You have to rent linen and also pay for utilities. We knew all this going in so it required some planning since we were visiting from overseas. Rooms were quite warm for June. All in all, a nice experience during our short visit to Billund."
"It’s a really novel place to stay. It’s fun for the kids, but I would say that it is really overpriced. We had the Lego movie room, which was really fun and cute and well done. The pillows were pretty uncomfortable and lumpy. We were able to enter the park 30 minutes early, but that wasn’t really as much incentive as we thought since none of the rides are open at that time. overall, we really enjoyed the novelty of the hotel but next time we come here we will stay at a less expensive hotel, and walk or pay for a taxi to the park in the morning"
"Firstly, incredibly easy check in process. In and ready to go to our rooms in under two minutes. Secondly, lovely and clean rooms. The mattress was a little firmer than I'm used to, but I still got a great sleep nonetheless. Shower pressure could have been stronger BUT I still managed to get a satisfying shower. Thirdly, breakfast was delicious and the gluten free options were very good! Lastly, distance to the airport was incredibly short, so you didn't have to spend the whole day figuring out travel to and from places.
All in all, the staff were fabulous and the hotel was a delight. Can't recommend enough!"
"Nice stay close to LEGOLAND and other Billund attractions. However room walls are very thin and you can hear the running water from other rooms and conversations at times.
Box of Lego in the room was a big hit.
No hot drink facilities in the room so plan ahead if needed.
Also be expected to make your own bed and no room cleaning during your stay.
Shop had lots of bits if you have forgotten to pack anything."
"Room was amazing for decorations. Clean and spacious. The only negative was that the sheets on the beds felt like a disposable plastic which was not expected considering the high price of the room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic."
"You come here for Legoland, and little other reason. Our cabin was cute, although the main bed was packed into a room that could barely hold it. I loved all the Lego paintings. As we were to be staying in downtown hotels the entirety of our trip, the cabin out in the country was a welcome change of pace.
I hope they consider a restaurant that serves meals, not just a single buffet. Overall, this is a well-priced alternative to the expensive resort, and barely a 10 minute walk to Legoland."
