"This place has a good location. Not far away from the attractions. However, the bathroom is a big concern. After showering, the water splashed almost the entire bathroom floor and made it slippery. Also, there seems to be no ventilation to dry the bathroom. Hope the bathroom can be improved."

"Great central location with breakfast and dinner buffet included. Beautiful old building with a lot of history. Bergen center being easy to get around and with their diverse weather which runs from heavy downpours to sunshine in June, it’s lovely to be able to drop back to the hotel to dry off and warm up with unlimited complimentary tea and coffee in the very comfortable lounge. And head back out. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. It’s definitely worth the splurge as I think it pays for itself with breakfast, coffee and cake in the afternoon and buffet dinner."

"The hotel was exactly as expected. A quick stay by the airport only a 5 easy minute walk away. Check in was easy even with the Norwegian hospitality strike (might be over if you’re reading this, did not effect this hotel much in the time it is going on). Rooms were only slight smaller than other airport hotels we’ve stayed at, but exactly what we needed. Seemed like the hotel had lots of entertainment like a pool table, board games, and a lot of social spaces. Breakfast had lots of variety and was quite delicious. Seemed like the air in the room wasn’t able to cool it down, which is standard for most European countries, had to keep our window open to cool down on a warmer Bergen day. Blackout curtains worked well. No conditioner, only a shampoo/body wash hybrid. Great for a one day stop and easy to walk to the tram to get to the city center."

"The room was clean, but it was smaller than I expected, too hot, and looking a bit tired. Not like the pictures we had seen when booking. It could do with some redecoration as the paint was coming off, and the light fitting was falling off the ceiling. The bed was very uncomfortable. As there's no air conditioning, and there is no temperature control, the only way to cool the room is to open the window. It was on a busy street, with the usual level of noise you'd expect in that situation, which made sleeping very difficult. There's no storage space in the room other than a clothes rail. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The gym was terrible. Not maintained at all. There was no water. The treadmills were in desperate need of a service, as the belt was loose and slipping which made it dangerous to use. The equipment was poor. It was dimly lit, and clearly forgotten about. The staff were very polite, however when we asked for milk in the room for a cup of coffee on arrival it didn't appear. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and a nice setting. We had dinner in the hotel which was disappointing. It was more like pub food than restaurant quality. Being in a busy part of the city, there were plenty of amenities around. It is very close to the harbour and the tourist areas, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The transport links are also excellent. Bergen is a lovely city and I'd go back, but probably not to the Bergen Børs, unfortunately."

"The hotel was nice and modern. The breakfast was excellent. Location was good too. Staff was friendly. Downside: outdated room was tiny, about the same size as a cruise ship economy cabin. Two of us could not be in the bathroom at one time. Our room, was only serviced 4 days out of the 6 nights we were there and no coffee was provided for 3 days. We had to go to the front desk to retrieve coffee. It was an nespresso pod machine and after 4 days no one emptied the used pods."

"This was such a nice treat after our Norway adventure through small towns with small showers! The room was spacious and well-laid out. Even with the couch having to be opened for our son, it was still comfortable. Also plenty of surfaces to open luggage, tons of hooks for coats, and enough shelves for us to be able to be comfortable and not constantly opening and closing luggage in one spot. The bathroom was equally comfortable with a wonderful shower with enough space to wash your feet without having to do fancy contorsions - and again plenty of shelf space to lay out and open three toiletry bags easily. While we did not do the breakfast, I took a peek and it looked plentiful and wonderful - this is one thing that most Scandinavian hotels can claim - a wonderful, balanced, healthy and plentiful breakfast spread - and this hotel doesn't seem to fall short. The location is perfect - right in the middle of all of it - a quick walk from the ferry stop, and a quick walk from the metro stop, as well as close to all the tourist spots. Finally - it was wonderfully clean and well-maintained. All in all: highly recommend!"
