"Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We liked the location, but important to know you are away from town and there is no restaurant on site. Also, the small kitchen in our apartment was nice, but would be great if they added a toaster oven or microwave to heat up food items that can’t be cooked on a stovetop."

"Beautiful guesthouse suitable for family with young children, love their tiny playhouse caters for children at leisure corner. Better experience if the place were to be given a minimal facelift, the kitchenette and wares were a little dated. Understood the importance of sustainability but breakfast selections were bare minimum. We were overall happy with our last minute booking, catch the most beautiful northern lights through our whole trip!"

"The friendliness of the staff and the amazing breakfast are two of the highlights of this hostel. The breakfast is outstanding and was included in the price I paid. I remember having crumbled ham, grilled potatoes and prawns fried in garlic butter at breakfast, in addition to the usual cold breakfast options. Highly recommended. The cook deserves high praise for the excellent breakfast. The staff, many of whom are high school students, are very friendly and chatty. Do remember to pack a pair of flip-flops as shoes are not allowed into the hostel rooms. And the communal kitchen can be in a different wing of the hostel from where you are staying. The hostel is conveniently close to the bus-stops for buses going to (about 200 meters uphill) and from (just across the road) Bodo/Fauske."

"We stayed here only for one night. The room was slightly cramped for the four of us, two on regular beds and two on a sofa bed that was not too comfortable. Other than that, the room was clean and well equipped. We appreciated the hotel's location within walking distance from the city center. The buffet breakfast was a treat, with a great choice of tasty food. The parking is not free; it has to be paid separately."
