I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. You can catch the 12 bus and go into Bari centrale with your credit card. Very easy to use the bus. We walked into the Torre Mare and enjoy dinner and the plaza. It’s about a 20 min walk there.
