"The perfect resort and the free breakfast was a bonus."

"This is a 250 year-old plantation with updated cottages spread throughout over the property. If you like a natural and lush environment, you will be VERY happy here. Proximity to the sites of St. Lucia are perfect, considering most of them are in the Soufriere area. This is just south of town in the edge of the rainforest. The staff is attentive and helpful and the restaurant is pretty good so you could eat here all you want, but there are excellent restaurants in the area if you want to get off property. They have some accommodations in the front where you would not have to do a lot of stairs, but many of the cottages are on a hilltop with a lot of stairs to access them. Be careful as you pick your cabin to make sure it is compatible withyour physical abilities. The staff is personable and they have a free shuttle to Sugar Beach every day just a few minutes away, and they provide beach towels. I would also highly recommend the chocolate inside considering there’s a fraction of the price of the nearby resort. We enjoyed it, but you’d need to be a nature lover to really appreciate it"

Her commitment to guest care extended far beyond her typical duties; she consistently went above and beyond, anticipating and fulfilling my requirements with extraordinary grace and efficiency. Her unwavering support and readiness to assist, even with requests outside her immediate purview, profoundly enhanced my overall stay. The unparalleled hospitality and the comprehensive support I received throughout my time at The Landing are deeply appreciated. "The property is exactly as seen in the pictures and honestly was our saving grace while in St Lucia. I’ve never spent more time in our room and at a property than we did this week. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained & very safe & secure. The Coconut restaurant was also a saving Grace. The food was amazing and we were so thankful to be able to get breakfast lunch or dinner there as my husband did not feel it was safe to drive our rental car to go to other areas for meals. Now to give you more helpful tips during your visit. Do not rent a car. It was a waste of $560 because it did not feel safe to drive on the island. The drivers are very fast, erratic and swerve around you and cut you off for not driving way over the speed limit on scary, hairpin, treacherous roads. We did take Dexter’s suggestion of hiring a private driver on our wedding anniversary, who drove us around the island to the tourist spots. It was much cheaper than if we had taken separate excursions. Richie was a great tour guide for the day! We saw the downtown of all the little cities, the Pitons, climbed the stairway to heaven, had lunch @ Dauphin with an amazing view, snorkeled at Sugar Beach just to name a few in a crammed packed day. However, I was very motion sick as this is driving and terrain like you’ve never experienced. We had hoped to drive ourselves and experience all the different snorkel spots but unfortunately, this island isn’t conducive of that."
