"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. In fact, during my check-in process, another customer was very upset about a lamp and was throwing a fit and they handled it very well. The room itself was very spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The set up and layout of the hotel was nice. Love being able to access the pool from the siding glass door. However, the hotel itself needs an entire renovation. The carpets throughout the building were very dirty and in poor condition with lots of rips and tears, which I found to be a trip hazard. I try to highlight the positives when doing reviews but the condition of the hotel was very off putting. I would’ve given a five star review had the hotel been in mid condition, but it was far from that. I hope that they reinvest in the building because location was great. The parking lot was great easy accessible from the highways… some great takeaways for sure but it made me feel like I was in a rundown motel."

"I carry valuables and normally the rooms have a small safe. My room didn’t. I prefer not to leave valuables in a room and am a little nervous about keeping them in a vehicle. At least t the vehicle has an alarm. If my wife had come with me I believe she would have had us move to a different Hotel. If the showers don’t have wands, she will try to find a hotel that does have them. Other than that, everything thing else was well done. I plan on visiting my family member more regularly and will definitely contact you folks for registration. I never asked, but senior discounts would cheerfully be appreciated. Thank you for a quiet and pleasant stay. Rtd Police Sgt. Richard Noble"

"Parking is good. Spacious and well maintained no additional fees to park in the parking lot and well security along with constant patrol of the Umatilla police too. The staff are always available. Was able to check in several hours early without an issue. Air conditioning can get VERY cold if you let it lol! Worked well no complaints with that. Room is always clean as well, this is my 4th time staying this year and really enjoyed it. True non smoking rooms (all of them) well maintained and simplistic."
