"We stayed for five nights in the Emory Suite. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We loved the living and dining areas, too. The area is near the road, but traffic slows to nothing at bedtime and it’s so quiet. Stargazing is also wonderful. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Big Bend/Terlingua area. "

"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was not clean upon arrival, and basic amenities were either missing or not functioning properly. The staff seemed uninterested in resolving the issues and were not responsive to requests. Overall, the service did not match the price or expectations. I would not recommend staying here."

"The place is great considering the location. It was so windy when we came so it was expected to be dusty. There was some stains on the sofa which was fairly new with one of the cabins. Overall it was a great place to stay!"

"Great Views and Very Close to Big Bend. No Bathrooms in the cabin it is shard space. My wife walked in on a man going to the bathroom #2 and he had the door wide open and did not bother to close it once my wife walked in. Partly my fault for not reading the reviews and seeing others post about how small it is. The Pictures are very misleading about the actual living space. We made it work though and overall it was ok but i could have stayed at big bend station for the same price and not have a shared bathroom and bigger space to sleep "
