The two bedroom, one bath cabin (actually, a sort of duplex) met our needs with a functional kitchen, decent heater, and a small fireplace with an insert for efficiency. The location isn't within walking distance of much, but that's OK. The DirecTV system was good, and the overall vibe of the property was pleasant. If your goal is to have a gorgeous mountain home with a view, this isn't the place for you, but if you want a good base of operations for skiing or exploring the area that's very dog friendly and you understand that you'll have to accept some downsides including very, very tight quarters, this will work out just fine.
I did wish for a couple of things. 1) All the bulbs were like 100 watts, so you either were in the dark or blinded. 2) The drying rack under the sink was filthy and clearly had been in that state for months if not years (the whole place could use a good cleaning of drawers and cabinets). 3) A manager should be on site at all times given the # of guests. 4) We brought our kitchen gear but if I had to rely on the utensils provided by the motel I wouldn't have been happy. I think there were no more than 3 glasses for a unit that sized for four people. 5) I would have appreciated a trash can in the kitchen.
All of that said, I'd probably stay there again.
