"We were just in town for the night, so needed somewhere close to where we were going. We didn’t really need amenities, but the bed was fairly comfortable and the room clean. One elevator made for walking through a maze of hallways, we did not realize when booking how big the place is. I imagine it would be nice for conventions, wedding parties and family reunions. A bit pricey for just a place to sleep."

"We have stayed here a few times, but we were in a more dated building this time with a flight of stairs to climb with luggage. It isn’t as easy at our age. We have always enjoyed our stays at the Publick House, but the newer sections are obviously much nicer. This visit… clean and comfortable, but not nearly as nice. Even one section near us was cordoned off - possibly for renovation(?) I sure hope so. If we get back to this part of the country, we would likely stay again, but hopefully in one of the newer sections again."
