very good stay at the hotel. i was initially unhappy, but staff of the hotel, service, hygeience, covid protection, flexibility and other qualities made me change my mind. hotel staff is also very proactive in. helping and advising customers about offers, extended stay, food choices etc.
only one negative is rooms are classic and old style and a bit old.
some may even like it and enjoy the experience, i did the same, do recommend you to stay here.
Clean rooms. Except some rooms are near open dining area are noisy hence to be avoided. Friendly staff. As this is not a hotel in real modern sense, the rooms are strewn around which gives an old world charm. Food is excellent. Plenty of wall exhibits like early 19th century photographs are priceless and rather unbelievably authentic.
One of the best hotels in Bhopal. Very friendly staff.

Decent Hotel, Dated Rooms
Nice hotel, though my room was way too far from the reception. The rooms are dated with old fixtures. Food is horribly expensive, with a bowl of khichdi and curds costing Rs 800+. Service is top class.
I stayed in for 2 days the front desk staff is so lovely and welcoming but the door man was very rude as he thought that he can take all our luggage by him self and not in a trolley .There was no wifi as they told us that there server was broken and hence it cannot be done in a day or two. Rooms are lovely but if there is a marriage reception then it becomes very noisy overall the stay was enjoyable and refreshing.
2 things need improvement
a. phone at the computer table and at bathroom.
b. availability of bath robes
everything ok and very convenient

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Nothing special
Not impressed. For all the talk about the aristocratic links and the price one pays, it was not that impressive at all. Jean Numa needs to step up its game as far as service is concerned. Rooms are small and very basic. Wifi sucks coz you keep getting signed off when not actively using. Reservations department is not responsive at all on email - i gave up and reserved on hotels.com. Breakfast is lifted right on time and even if you arrive 5 minutes after that time, they don't accommodate you. Everyone that works in the spa decided to take a day off on a festival that's not even a national holiday (Rakshabandhan). All in all, the hype is not real.
