"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel overall. The location is excellent, the amenities are top-notch, and the daily breakfast was fantastic. The room itself was also very well-kept and comfortable. However, there was one major quirk that future guests should be aware of: the bathroom did not have a door. While it didn't ruin the stay, it was quite an unusual design choice and could definitely be a privacy issue depending on who you are traveling with. Aside from that detail, it was a great stay."

"Staff very helpful and able to help. Food amazing. Sitting outside to eat is so French. Breakfast was so well laid out and tasty. Easy to get to different levels in a wheelchair. The view from the room was breath taking. We have to book again."

"Fantastic conversion of a historic building into a modern hotel. Staff were helpful, recommending somewhere local to eat, as the hotel has very limited food options. Good shower. Let down by an uncomfortable bed."

"Unique accommodation (quirky even) from access via lock boxes (great!) to the space itself, multilevel with a separate sitting area and bathroom. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable, a fan was provided to keep the room cool (it was 32C outside) and the shower was hot and powerful. There was a large flatscreen TV with lots of channel choices too. Breakfast was provided on a tray outside the room. If you like a non-invasive experience, in an old, stylish, unique property, in the centre of Béthune (town square just a couple mins away), with (albeit limited) parking right around the corner, on the street, I would heartily recommend"
