Great place to stay
Lovely hotel room although it is a premium room. Very spacious with toilet separate to shower room. It looks like it would wheelchair friendly. Lovely shower one downside is the small hand basin. Very difficult to use without splashing water everywhere. Great location right next to the station and if the walk into the old town seems too far, the tram takes you into the centre.

Good for a Family Weekend
Perfect stay for a family weekend. The hotel and rooms look new and the staff was friendly. The location was ideal for us as we had a car, hence appreciated the gated parking at a reasonable rate. This hotel is a healthy walk from the center, or an easy tram ride, which you need to do for the restaurants and sights. We also paid for breakfast which was excellent, especially the locally produced jams and jellies. Overall a good stay.

I'd come back
A great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. If you're arriving or leaving by train the proximity to the station is excellent. It's a bit of a walk down to the river and old town but if you can't be bothered walking the tram stop is right next door. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very good with lots of variety.

Nice hotel close to the train station.
Had a lovely stay. This hotel is a ten minute walk from the River crossing. Buffet breakfast was yummy, which included little omlets. A point to note, although this hotel advertises as a non-smoking facility, smoking is allowed in the small garden courtyard. If you leave your window open, the smoke rises up and your room will smell of smoke, which incurs a $150 Euro charge. Luckily, as non-smokers we quickly smelt our room filling with smoke, closed the windows and were mindful not to open them for the duration of our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Florel. The staff was attentive and kind and our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was fresh and served with care and smiles each morning. The only shortcoming was the construction for the tram but once that is complete the location will be even more convenient with access to the city center.

A long weekend in Besancon
Florel Hotel is a well-run, very friendly hotel with decent-sized, well-equipped rooms. The breakfast was good. Staying there in the midst of the installation of a tram system in Besancon was not exciting. The whole town was a construction site, and a very muddy one at that. The hotel was a little out of town, but very handy for the train station. The construction and mud made getting to/from the hotel rather inconvenient.. The tram is scheduled for completion end 2014.

Onverwacht veel faciliteiten in dit hotel: zwembad, zonneterras, spa, gym, heerlijk ontbijt. We hadden een fijne kamer met een apart toilet en badlakens voor aan het zwembad. Helemaal top.

Bon point de départ pour découvrir Besançon
Très belle surprise et découverte avec cet hôtel à proximité immédiate de la gare. La piscine et l’espace détente sont nickels. La déco est soignée et le petit déjeuner gourmand et frais.
