"I can’t say enough great things about The Wave. The design and decor of this boutique hotel made us feel as if we were at an expensive upscale resort at a smaller scale. We went during the week so the bar by the pool wasn’t open and they were just finishing the patio on the lake, so we were not able to get the full feel of all the amenities but we will definitely be coming back again to do just that. ***One thing to be aware of is that the beds are very low to the ground. I note this only because I was thinking of my 80 year old parents who would love this place, but I know they would struggle getting out of the bed. I’m not sure if the bed in the handicap accessible room is low as well. It’s something to consider if this would affect you."

"Rooms are clean; a little old, but perfectly clean. The breakfast selection was good; it included hot items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, and standard continental breakfast items as well. Great location and price for a trip to Cedar Point. We like it enough to have stayed here 3 different trips to the park!"

"We did a 3 night stay while we were in Ohio to visit Cedar Point. Melanie the front desk gal was super sweet and helpful as well as very accommodating when I needed anything. Kris also checked in on us to make sure we were having a good stay, which was great. The room was just we needed for the week; somewhere to grab some good free breakfast before hitting up the parks and a place to rest our heads after a long day having fun in the sun. The pool was a nice amenity to have on our first night of travel, but we didn’t really have time to utilize anymore than that. I would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to other park going travelers."
