"Bed is hard"

"I love the rustic decor - real wood - cozy and warm. Food and service in the pub was excellent. My only complaint - the vending machine ate my $4.00 when I was having a snack attack at 0100h. Probably didn't need the chips anyway. LOL Lovely place with lots of parking for full-size trucks."

"Solid place if you're looking for a spot to crash for the night and have no need of parking or other amenities. Clean rooms, friendly staff, central downtown location, no frills. Breakfast was available ("boxed continental"), parking is extra, and while I appreciated the in-room coffee option, would recommend taking advantage of getting your own from a local shop instead. I would have appreciated being able to control the thermostat, instead of just having a "fan hi, lo, or off" option."

"We have stayed here before and had very good experiences. Our room this time was a little disappointing as the water pressure was very poor making it difficult to have a shower. The bathroom door was very squeaky which was annoying when sleeping. Breakfast was better than most hotels offer and the staff was very pleasant. "

"1. Hallway echoed all night long with people closing their doors. Can’t imagine how much worse it would have been had the hotel been at capacity. 2. Even with the HVAC system all the way to cold, the room was far too warm. It is almost as though the hotel still had the heating on and the room controls are just for show. For a woman who usually sleeps with an overhead fan and pedestal fan beside the bed at home, this was unbearable. Even husband found the room too hot though. 3. Our very specific reservation requirements for first floor room due to disability and service dog were ignored when assigned room 215. Thankfully hotel wasn’t at capacity and room was changed to first floor. 4. Provided WiFi code did not work."

"We were pleasantly surprised about our stay at Kingston Marriott. I had read some reviews about it being noisy and rooms that were not well maintained. The room we were in had been updated fairly recently and it was quiet, clean and fairly spacious (King Standard room). It was raining so we weren’t able to enjoy the patio space (looked nice) - however, we had a nice dinner at the restaurant. Servers were friendly and the food was very good. The location is close to interesting shops and restaurants. Overall, a very nice stay."
