"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. "Our stay was great! The rooms were spacious and very clean! There was even has a back patio with a table and chairs. The interior courtyard was cute and I liked that our room was right off of the courtyard.They provided towels for the beach which was very nice. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again! "

"The Tortuga bay suite is right by the street so you hear the street noise until about 10:30pm on workdays and about 11:30pm on a Friday. The air conditioner doesn’t work well. It makes a noise at night and is quite disturbing. With the many mosquitoes, we could not open the windows and it was quite a terrible experience to sleep at night. The soap and shampoo/body wash are diluted. The fridge is incredibly noisy and you cannot sleep with it being on. The plates are dirty and require extra...

"I stayed here twice. Both times highly satisfactory. Staff was very friendly and accommodatding. The rooms and garden area are in excellent upkeep and pleasant to hang out in hammocks or seating arrangements. The owners are very kind people, who even helped me organize a free ride back to the airport upon my departure (a relative happened to also take a flight off the island). I highly recommend this establishment. "
