"Our stay at The Palms was exceptional! We arrived very early by boat and really appreciated that our luggage was stored and we were allowed to use the pool until our room was ready. Communication prior to our stay was very good, the check in smooth and the staff unbelievably friendly. Being greeted with a smile and a cold towel was very refreshing! The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed. We found the beds and bedding to be extremely comfortable. The kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, blender, coffee machine, glasses, cutlery and dinnerware was really well thought out and useful for our stay. We liked that there were many cold drinks, snacks and wine to choose from at an additional cost which allowed us to enjoy the evening without having to leave the room. The coconut bread as a welcome gift was a nice touch and enjoyed. The bathroom is large and the shower has good water pressure. There is an additional seating area with a TV that was comfortable as well. The pool and pool area is very clean and comfortable. The pool is larger than appears in the photos. It was a wonderful and refreshing place to relax. The property is a quick 15 minute walk to a nice restaurant on the water. Everything about The Palms was perfect from beginning to end and we will definitely stay there again if in Belize City."

When I asked, front desk suggested buying more from the bar. Water is a basic need and should not be rationed at a hotel at this level The bottom line: For the price and Ramada brand, I expected better. Between the noise issues, the water situation, and the run-down facilities, I don’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning. Trip type: Couple, 7 nights Would not recommend to a friend"
