"The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are nice, it has a nice gym area, and a pool area as well. The attached restaurant had really good food. There is nothing to do around the hotel. We walked a couple miles in each direction and it's just construction and homes. Nothing to do. So it seems it is just a nice hotel if you plan to go to the islands the next day. "

You can easily get ANYWHERE you want to go! The private cottage is a must have! When I wasn't out, I practically LIVED in that personal hammock! Lol! Be aware that It is not a luxury hotel, with a lot of superfluous amenities. It is a hotel for the traveler with a serious purpose: to interact with a local office or entity and to get to know a country and culture. The location is superb for a true understanding Belize."
