"The staff were very nice and helpful but they only gave us information about the Resturant for the tourist areas we asked where the local go and she said here but as we were walking we came upon the really traditional Spanish restaurant the kind that you want to go and try while you are there not a touristy place when we asked on a Saturday Sunday the hours of stores opening also got wrong infos naturally we found out on our own later that they were open indeed."

"This spot is amazing right in the middle of the action. But still quiet and comfortable. Large rooms and a great on-site breakfast. The small pub is also quaint. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The Public free parking is nearby. I can only assume the restaurant is fantastic, but we didnā€™t try it. Would stay here again."

"What a charming place. The location is perfect inside of the ruins, close to main plaza. Free and 24hr parking. The price incredible. For being in the middle of town, it was not loud and the rooms were dark in the morning so you can sleep in. Definitely adds to feeling you are back into the 16th Century."

"This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain. The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery. We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge Airbnb. The kitchen facilities were very useful. One big piece of advice; there are no restaurants or food shops in the near vicinity so Iā€™d suggest doing a food shop before arrival if you donā€™t want to drive again later. Thereā€™s a large Carrefour about 5 mins drive away."

"What a delightful hotel in a historic building, in a lovely old town. Reception was friendly & helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable & clean. As we're the public area, bar, dining room, court yard & lounge. Breakfast was very good. An advantage for us on our road trip was secure parking at the hotel for a small charge."
