"The entire hotel and staff were amazing! We booked a bungalow for three and it was one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. In addition to the wonderful room, the facilities including the Spa, the pools, the restaurant and the activities all exceeded our expectations as well. The Canyon Adventure (Zipline) was a big hit for our family, and our son was very appreciative of all the meal options he could have that offered non-dairy options. We booked transportation with the resort provided option and it was a great choice for ease and convenience. Five star experience all around!"

"Highly recommend staying at Amalu Resort! We stayed at the Tiny House for my birthday and they made sure to make it extra special! You can tell the owners have gone to extra lengths with all of the little details. The concierge Aaron even greeted us with a warm welcome, stocked fridge, warm hot tub, and ice bucket of champagne! And the sunset observation deck! WOW!! Thank you so much!"

"Beautiful and sparkling clean rooms set in a really wonderful piece of land. The photos don't do it justice! My one complaint would be that we had heard so much about the wonderful breakfasts and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the more extensive menu is exclusively offered to people stopping in for breakfast only. We would have happily paid to upgrade from our free breakfast! "

"Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. We went for something to eat, and then came back to the cabin for a shower and a nights sleep. My 2 friends were outside, and I went into the bathroom to use the toilet. The shower was on the left, sink in the middle, and toilet on the right. I lightly placed my left hand on the sink while raising the toilet seat, when the sink fell off the wall! The ceramic sink hit my legs, knocking me off balance, and I fell to the left, landing on my right hip, and knocked both shower doors off the track with my left shoulder. My friends rushed in as I was picking myself up, and noticed my left arm was bleeding. The sink flipped upside down on the floor when it fell, and I think the metal drain that was sticking straight up caused the cuts on my arm. The metal sink support brackets on the wall were rusted paper thin. In respect to making things worse, it was fortune the shower door panes were plastic and not glass. If glass, and they broke when I hit them, my injuries could have been much worse. We have pictures of the sink, and the injuries to my arm."

"The property needs to be advertised better . What’s in the photos is not the room I received. The ac is not on and takes a while to cool the bedroom as that’s the only room with ac . The water pressure is not good at all . I couldn’t get my long hair rinsed out . The items included on the welcome package were not included . They only serve pizza at the restaurant at the establishment. My room was not cleaned and I stayed 4 days . Left for breakfast daily and no bed made or garbage removed ."
