"My girlfriend and I stay at this specific hotel every year when I go to visit my folks in South Carolina. As usual...it was awesome!! For the price this hotel is beyond a deal!!! The beds are comfy and lets talk about the shower!! I wish we had one like that in our apartment in Minnesota. Great water pressure and it's so refreshing after a long drive. We don't ever use the pool or fitness areas but they look great!! Now...I have to mention the breakfast here. I usually do not care much for any hotel breakfast. I just grab whatever and go. This breakfast spread far exceeds ANY hotel I have EVER stayed in. I actually feel awful for wrapping up a couple to go breakfast sandwiches..LOL!! There's waffles, cereal, oatmeal, etc. But the deal breaker is the hot honey chicken biscuits you can make!!! And this year you could make your own egg, bacon and cheese biscuit as well!! For 110 dollars a night I feel almost bad because it's a $200 hotel for sure!! Please don't change!! We'll see you next year and are looking forward to it! :)"

"My girlfriend and I always stay in the Lexington area when we visit my family in South Carolina. We tried this hotel this year as the ratings looked really good! It's not a horrible hotel by any means, but it wasn't that good either. There where some fixtures broken in the hallway and you could really tell this was another hotel at one time and they painted over everything and put in some new furniture. The breakfast was not good at all. I forgot what we paid for the place but it was around 110-130 a night...not worth it for what we get at the Home2suites in Keeneland!!!"

"Internet was out this morning for several hours. Pool was closed. Room key wouldn't open the side door of the building. The staff was good though, and the room was nice."

"The staff were so friendly. The Taven waitress at night didn’t do a good job though. Got our order wrong and charged us for the other order plus the original order. Forgot to get my husbands drink until he was just about done eating. "

"The stay was enjoyable, the staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room could have been cleaner, there were stains and peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom, there was something that had run out of a vent on the bathroom wall leaving a white stain on the wall, the air conditioner unit was extremely loud when operating. Given the cost of the stay, I would expect these minor things to have been corrected prior the guest arrival."

"We always come to this hotel when we have to travel back to Lexington for family and holidays. We know exactly what we get and we know we will like our stay. The staff, kitchens in the rooms and the pool and hot tub is main reasons why we continue to book. "
