excellent food, spacious rooms, great location with free bus outside. the only downsidw was that the wifi didnt work, and staff seemed a bit unphaused.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and spacious rooms. A great restaurant downstairs and the best croissants for breakfast. And to top this all, walking distance from some beautiful hiking trails. A great destination!

From our arrival, we were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and staff of this delightful hotel - a real gem and a well-kept secret! As two gay men travelling together, initial reception is always a concern, but we were welcomed wholeheartedly and treated extremely well throughout our stay. Rooms were large, well equipped and all had superb views over the surrounding beautiful countryside. Breakfast was substantial, with choices to suit all tastes. We chose to...

I enjoyed a very relaxing night here after a long trip. The surrounding area is quiet. With beautiful surrounding views. The owners were extremely welcoming, and my evening meal and breakfast in the morning was excellent. I wish the owners and there family every success for the future.

We stayed here as a base for motorcycle touring. The hotel was excellent, and it was very reassuring to keep the bike in a secure underground garage, which was FOC for bikes. The hotel was excellent value - especially the evening meals, which even catered well for us vegetarians. Virtually all the staff spoke good English. Highly recommended.

I've been here twice and would go back. The setting is very pretty next to the river., but I was there on business so this counted for less. Rooms are comfortable, the superior room I took once had a jacuzzi in it as well as a large amount of space. The restaurant is good with its own pizza oven, I also recommend the local beer - on the evenings when it's not open you can just walk up the road to the Voltaire. Breakfast is a buffet with a large choice, and is served early. Staff are helpful but...

We were hiking GR5 in January, with one stage ending at Vianden. We were grateful to be able to stay in this comfortable and conveniently located hotel, as there were very few overnight options at this time of the year.
We got a larger room than we booked with view at the castle. The room is comfortable and clean. We had dinner at the acompanying restaurant, which is nicely decorated. The food was delicious. And the staff was warm.

Located in central Luxembourg, this 5* hotel was the perfect luxury base for a weekend visit. From the outside the hotel looks dated, but after checking in, you can enjoy newly refurbished facilities. The rooms were very large and had plush furnishings.
The only down side at the hotel was that the spa/pool/gym facilities have not been brought up to scratch, they did feel dated and did not match the rest of the hotels facilities.
Hotel staff were all friendly, and the concierge provided...

The Melia Luxembourg is new and squeaky clean and a good choice if you want to stay at a more high-end hotel and prefer to be outside the hustle and bustle of the touristic town center.
My room, the "Melia Guestroom", had a view of the old city accross the gorge, was quite spacious and had a wonderful bed and a nice bathroom (and free nespresso).
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of an area housing many European organizations (lots of new buildings being built) and lies directly next...

Fabulous overnight stay. We had a lovely room with a balcony, overlooking the countryside. Room was large, beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. Dinner was excellent. Only small gripe was the small towels. Highly recommend
