"Our room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was the cleanest of any I’ve ever seen in a hotel of this age, only 9 years old. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was that the restaurant closed down on the day before we checked out so we couldn’t order a dinner. We did have a meal there earlier in the week and the food was delicious. "

"The hotel common areas are first rate. The staff was the best. We enjoyed meals there too. Loved the pool, workout room and trivia night. The rooms are on the smaller side, but suited perfectly for our week. Thank you too the amazing staff there, from chatting poolside to getting me the first cup of coffee, the service is excellent."

"Wonderful location for everything you need to do and see in Charleston. Lovely artwork tour of the hotel everyday at 5. Continental breakfast bag delivered to the room. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Late afternoon wine hour. Mid evening coffee and cookies. All nice touches. "

"The location was spectacular. The bed was comfy. The staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was fine since it was off season. However, the way the rooms are set up is terrible. All the room doors face each other to a huge concrete commen area. It was so ridiculously loud inside our room, everything echoed, especially the cleaning staff making their rounds to the rooms. Also, we had a room with a adjoining door to another room with a huge gap at the bottom of the door and could hear EVERYthing that was happening next to us. Would not stay here again just for the noise issues."
