Great Hideaway

Beautiful château and a fantastic room. We had dinner which was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommended !

Das Haus ist etwas Besonderes: abgelegen in einem Wald, sehr ruhig und umgeben von Grün. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten zwei Einzelzimmer gebucht. Eines war sehr schön, groß genug undmit sehr nettem Blick über den Garten in den Wald. Das andere war eher klein und verwinkelt, auch in keinem besonders gutem Zustand. Ok, wenn man dort nur schlafen will. Sonst eher nicht zu empfehlen.

Flot og hyggeligt hotel med meget fredelig beliggenhed. Vi havde et dejligt stort værelse, der er en rar og hjemlig atmosfære og enrigtig god restaurant. Morgenmaden var dog ikke så spændende.

A beautiful house, but...

Whilst the overall impression is very nice, with a beautiful building and friendly staff, the restaurant is pricey, cleaning of the rooms was sloppy, there were always bugs and flies in the room and some rooms smelled like old house. Neither cettle nor fridge in the rooms, which could be expected at this price range. Still, good!

Country escape

Lovely location, staff and management were very welcoming & attentive, food excellent - the manager was also the chef, great to be able to swim in the shadow of he château overlooking the surrounding paddoccks.

Real Chateau in the countryside

Absolutely beautiful building in an idyllic setting in the French countryside....horses in adjacent corrals, a big friendly dog named Gizmo and a needy cat demanding your attention. A wonderful place!

Nice restful stay in a France Chateau

Lovely stay in the Chateau. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and the grounds to walk in. Not too far for a visit to Monet's Garden either. Beautiful area of France. Very friendly welcoming staff.

Charmant hôtel à la campagne

Très bon week-end au château de la Rapée. Le lieu est magnifique, perdu dans la campagne au bout d'une longue allée dans la fôret. L'accueil et le service sont parfaits, la chambre très agréable, et le restaurant est une merveille. N'hésitez pas!

Perfect quiet country retreat

A lovely hotel in a very secluded spot but within striking distance of Paris. The staff were particularly attentive, friendly and helpful, really making us feel welcome without being intrusive. The restaurant food was excellent with a very good wine selection. The rooms were spacious and light with lovely views over the countryside.

Lovely surroundings

It's a lovely hotel but we were travelling with a baby and 2 small dogs and we were on the top floor with no lift so there was a lot of carrying to do and the beautifully polished wooden stairs were a bit slippy! We did also find the bed a bit uncomfortable but our room was very nice; the staff were super and dinner was pretty good.

Fantastic place

What can I say? An amazing chateau. A superb bedroom with luxurious en suite, and a very kindly and welcoming host. Whilst the set breakfast is typically French, the host is willing to supplement this with other goodies such as muesli and eggs if you ask her. We hope to come again.
