"They never made the bed or changed out the towels,smelled like cigaretts bad,the front door was massive chipped paint,along with everydoor i walked past,the grounds were dirty littered with plastic bottles,no effort at all on any sort of landskaping,nothing inviting or homey about this place,would never stay again"

"The room was very nice. The staff was Awesome! I am used to a hot breakfast to start my day and the only thing that was hot was pancakes. I like eggs,etc. I also looked forward to sitting around the pool in the late evenings but it was not avaliable so there was no where to sit outside except at the front on a bench."

"Room smelled disgusting. The sofa bed in the room was the most disgusting I’ve ever seen. The bathroom was not nice at all especially having the tub and walls with mold. "

"Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baytown recently and overall it was an average experience, not quite matching the rating. The room itself was decent and worked fine for a short stay, but there were a few issues. My wife noticed the hallway had a strong weed smell, which wasn’t ideal. There was also a beeping noise outside that went on through the night, and at one point it sounded like there was some street racing nearby. To be fair, we travel with a fan that helps drown out noise, so it didn’t completely ruin the stay, but it’s something other guests might struggle with. The breakfast was also pretty underwhelming compared to what we expected. Overall, it’s okay if you just need a place to sleep, but based on the rating, I expected a bit better—especially in terms of cleanliness and overall environment."
