A solid value
I pretty much stay here every weekend. It's cheaper than staying in Singapore. Basic accommodations. Wifi can be sketchy. Aircon goes down to 16 (at least in room 411). Cheap digs. So all in all, a solid value.
Location is good, near to market, coffee shops and not too far from ferry termina. Hotel condition not too good tought, elevator maintenance, bed cranky, and shower not hot. But its currently under renovation hope it will come good in the future.
There is no shampoo, cups or water kettle & no water heater. Room size is acceptable but no housekeeping for 2nd day stay.

About the housekeeping 2nd day stay, we actually have but we do need confirmation from the Guest before. If not, we dont have any permission to enter the room.
We feel sorry about the shampoo, our staffs forget to put it inside. We will be more careful about this.

The Hotel is conveniently located to malls and market place.
Getting Taxi/ other shuttle service to and from nearby malls are cheap and convenient.
The staffs are very kind and pleasant.
The room was clean.
24hr Cafe service was prompt at 3AM.
Lucky we were located on the second floor and did not have much baggage. The elevator is under renovations.

How do you expect a person on a wheelchair to stay in this hotel? There’s no lift and this is the worst experience for me to stay in a overseas hotel. Expedia should not even recommend or market this hotel. From the first day, all I heard is complaint from my parents who’s old and immobility. Just imagine the difficulty they had when I booked for them this hotel over last weekend. No lifts for them to even go up to their room floors. Not booking into this hotel ever again!

This was a "trip-on-a-budget" just like any other getaway...and GLORIS looked good on the internet...unfortunately they're going through some renovations...so lets give the management a chance, because judging by the availability of bathtubs (except Superior rooms), and the service provided by the staff...I'm sure GLORIS will be back to its GLORIouS standard; or perhaps even better .

Needs new bed sheets
For a very low price, you get an okay room in almost all aspects. Only downside was the cleanliness of the bed sheets, which unfortunately were rather gross.
