"This could be a lovely hotel, but I’d need of maintenance and cleaning. The room was not clean, the ceiling was coming down in the bathroom area, a broken lamp was on the floor, terrible smoke odor in the room, one set of towels for two days in a king room. The front desk staff was friendly and the location was good."

"The Oakdale Inn was wonderful! My wife and I stayed overnight while visiting family in the area, and are already planning to stay at the Oakdale when we return. The facility is delightful, with sitting rooms and clean, comfortable bedrooms. The breakfast, prepared and served by the excellent innkeeper, was fantastic and sent us on our way quite full and ready for the day. We highly recommend the Oakdale Inn, and cannot wait to return! "Old and rundown, but if you are just looking for a place to just sleep and shower, it was okay. Bed linens and towels were clean, no bed bugs and the water pressure in the shower was awesome! I will probably not stay there again, but like I said if you need a bed and shower after being on the road, you get what you pay for."
