"The initial room I was assigned had an obvious issue with the HVAC unit. The thermostat was set to 68, but the room temperature was actually 84. I got another room. By the end of my stay, there was a problem with the HVAC unit in the 2nd room.
The hotel provides free WIFI, but the performance is throttled down to 10 Mb. I had much better performance with my cell phone using cellular data. I used that when I had to.
When I checked in I requested a room on the 2nd floor. I thought that would be the top floor because the hotel near the front is two stories. What I didn't know was the back of the hotel is 3 stories. Can you guess where my room was? I eventually ended up with someone in the room over me. I could easily hear them walking across their floor, which vibrated the ceiling over my head. Pack ear plugs if you get a room like I had."
"A hotel should not book rooms that are not fully ready to be used. There was no closet. No closet bar, no hangers. No hairdryer. No laundry bag. No exhaust fan cover in the bathroom. There was no counter to place toiletries on the sink while getting ready. The tiles in the shower near the drain stuck to my foot when I stepped on it and came off of the floor when I moved.
And when we complained, we were informed that the hotel was under renovation and not all rooms had been everything guests needed. That doesn’t seem acceptable.
The staff was helpfulc courteous and kind. The breakfast was good. We felt safe, just not comfortable. We didn’t feel like we got the amenities you normally get at a holiday inn, "
"This is a very nice hotel. It is clean, staff is very friendly. They are pet friendly and even gave our dog treats when we checked in. I would definitely stay here again."
"The room was clean, cozy and the perfect retreat. The hotel had little amenities to make you feel welcomed. The staff was friendly and took care of any needs right away that needed attention. "
"The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful. the person who checked me out not so much. The room was swept and clean. The beds were made. the sheets were clean, but I don't know they had been changed. The covers had an odor to them from the middle down to the foot or at least the top cover did. Again, not sure they were changed so I sprayed Lysol on the beds. The shampoo & conditioner and lotion were like I had never seen, very stylish but empty. All towels & washcloths and hand towels were clean and a plenty. We had a long trip, and still had more travel so I didn't bother to call the front desk."
"The room was old and the furniture was worn. Not in very good condition. The room needs to be remodeled. New paint and furniture would be a good start.
The breakfast was ok. No cooked items available. Just cereal and bagels."
