"Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy."

"Amazing experience at the Parador. Resort is magnificient, you have a Monkey Trail, mini putt for the kids and pickleball courts. The pools are overlooking the Pacific Ocean with an amazing view. We saw onsite monkeys, iguanas, many kinds of birds and sloths. Breakfasts were great and the Tapas restaurant was well priced compared to outside the resort. Happy hours everyday from 6 to 7pm was great to catch the sunset. Rooms were spacious for a couple and two teenagers. Parador was also a walking distance to a nice quiet beach or you could request a golf cart ride. The Parador also offered a shuttle service free of charge that brings you to the Manual Antonio public beach. Would definetely return and recommend a stay at the Parador."
"The ocean was visible from the restaurant and pool. Great food at the restaurant. We had the Tico Roll, hamburger, Hawaiian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven and a chicken wrap. All were splendid. Excellent choices at the breakfast buffet. Lovely maintained pool with a bar that had a happy hour. The only drawback was the steep walk to our room, to the beach or to get to the main road which was a km away. It didn't bother us but if you don't like a challenge grab a can. Rides in a golf cart we're provided if needed. Beach was excellent but wear swim shoes because of the lovely lava rock. Plenty of restaurants within the km. The staff was extremely friendly. So happy with our choice."
"My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was supposed to have an ocean view but really did not have even a partial ocean view. Aside from that everything was excellent, service was great, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious, and the view from the pool was lovely. We had nice treatments from the spa as well. I enjoyed the birds on the property and especially appreciated the Scarlet macaw and rehabilitation program and reserve on the property. "
"The staff here are great - very helpful and accommodating. The view from the hotel is stunning - I highly recommend catching both a sunrise and a sunset from the rooftop area. I saw lots of wildlife on the trails through the grounds - well worth exploring those as well. My room was small, but spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. "
"I loved this hotel! It is an older property right on the beach with beautiful pool. Perfectly situated for parks, recreation and walking distance to restaurants. It has an on site restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. It's not fancy but it's clean, comfortable and the room a.c. works great! Everyone does get up kinda early to watch the wildlife surrounding the hotel so if you like to sleep late forget about that....for me was perfect! No need to set actual alarms!! And you will see monkeys, macaws and the occasional sloth!! Saw more animals while hanging out at the hotel than some of the parks!! Highly recommend for the low maintenence traveller!!"
"Everything was perfect! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire parts of the resort. The view is gorgeous, actually even better than the pictures. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.
We really enjoyed it here! "
