"We were very happy with our 11th floor-1109 -room. From our balcony we could look right to City Hall,and left to the Art Museum. Weather on our 1st night made sitting on our balcony a pleasant place! The room was very spacious and comfortable,and very clean. The kitchen allowed us to pick up some food locally,@ DiBruno on Chestnut St., and then snack and drink in our room. All in all,a very pleasant stay in a well-located property."

"No parking on site. We parked at a garage 2 blocks away which wasn't that bad. AC worked fine and felt uncomfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful."

"My husband and I travel to Philadelphia (and in general) often and love trying out different hotels. We wanted to stay at AKA because we thought it would be a nice vibe for our anniversary while in Philly. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We liked our room, but everything else was not great - had to be our worst experience at a hotel. The staff was unfriendly to the point it made us uncomfortable. I probably have never written a review, but our experience was that bad. Was charged an additional “resort” fee after booking/paying when we arrived as well. The drink voucher that we were promised was not available because they no longer have a bar and we were not compensated for this and it’s still being promoted.. We don’t drink, but we’re looking forward to some mocktails. We stayed here a year ago and loved our experience, but after this stay we won’t ever be back."

"The shade doesn’t come all the way down, light still gets through at the bottom. And maybe warn guests in the rooms facing the parking lot that trash gets picked up at 3am. And staff is a little loud going in and out of the staff only elevator in the middle of the night"

"The front desk was helpful, the room was big and clean and the property was not far from where I had to go. The building appeared to be secure. It was a pleasant visit for somewhere to sleep."
