"The hotel is beautiful, the garden, restaurant and the room itself is so spacious and the bed is a true king size, the bathroom was absolutely beautiful. We booked the executive room which had a lovely balcony. The only thing that was a bit tricky for us is that the door to the room does not automatically close, so you have to rescan the card and make sure it’s closed. It took a bit of getting use to, so I’d say if you can inquire about how to properly insure it’s locked you will be fine and will love it. It is also in a great location, walking distance from casa Mila and casa batlo and just around the corner from passieg de gracia. "

"Staff was welcoming as I arrived and the place is modern and clean. Choice of water or cava to start and the staff at reception tolerated and even encouraged my mediocre Spanish. Cookies waiting in my room and a bottle of wine—enjoyed it on my private terrace overlooking Avignuda Diagonal. Trip of a lifetime and loved that I got to stay at 414 (I’m from “the 414” in the states—area code of Milwaukee). It was meant to be for me but I’d encourage anyone to stay at this lovely place. "

"5-Stars all around! A TRUE 5-Star Hotel! From all of their Staff, ranging from Front Reception to Door Service to their Wait Staff, they were ALWAYS nice, helpful, attentive and quick. They have a Michelin Star Restaurant at the Hotel, Batea. Stayed in room 311, Junior Suite, completely updated with high end finishes. Room was super quiet so noise was never an issue. and I could easily open a window to get a breeze. Perfect Location! Practically on the corner of Gran Via and Passeig de Gracia. Very easy to get a Taxi from there. 5-min walk to Casa Batlló. A 12 min walk to La Boqueria Market. Walking distance to everything within the Gothic Quarter. This is a MUST STAY place for EVERY possible reason!"
