"Loved city centre location and the building is a beautiful landmark. Had a fabulous stay would return again, slept well very quiet during night giving the location , clean room lovely view over city. Breakfast unfortunately I did not have as was visiting family on very short break , nxt time will have & Parking was safe & easy on the doorstep , late arrival & was assisted with luggage straight to my door , excellent service from staff all pleasant & chatty."

"If you need a room with a shower make sure you phone before going. I asked for one as i'm disabled and they gave me one with a bath and said they only have 2 rooms with a shower. Which is stupid. But apart from that, lovely hotel. "

"This hotel is excellent, all the staff are very friendly and helpful and very polite Check in was easy The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable Could have done with 2 chairs rather than 1 Bathroom was big, shower over bath, the water for the shower wasn't very hot Breakfast was nice and fresh, will definitely book again when we go to Bradford Massive well done Mercure!!!"

"My second visit was not a patch on the first. Different room and floor. This room was very tired. The TV was a lot smaller and the wifi was not good or fast enough to stream anything so I had to tether. I was above a road this time as well, which meant road and city centre noise. Couple with the youths (non guests by the look of it) marauding around the corridors late in the evening, this stay felt dirty and unsafe! It's still a good price and the EV charging is a huge draw, but I would like to actually feel safe and clean in my room. I had a look in the morning and cannot see any CCTV cameras on the stairways or hotel corridors, so I guess they could go unnoticed. "

"It was easy to spot our next stop over, it looked really good from the outside. Parking was easy and pretty secure. We headed to reception to check in and was met my Paula, who made us feel very welcome. She was very friendly and very informative. We checked the room out and it was behind reception, within a beautiful setting. The room was smartly decorated and presented. 2 nice double beds, large bathroom with TV and tea/coffee facilities. We did have to request more cups, but that was no issue from Paula, she did this straight away. We requested a menu and decided to stay there for a meal. The waiter seemed new, but tried his best, think he was the only one serving. The food looked appealing and tasted pretty good, the breakfast was also great too, considering it was in with the price. A very enjoyable stop over and will definitely be looking to return to the area and be booking with these guys again. Thank you! "
