"Had an excellent overnight stay at the Arctic Inn on our way back to Tromsø. We were met by the owner who was very friendly showed us to our room. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and opened into a terrace overlooking the water...great for fishing! :-) The owner asked what we'd like to eat then prepared the food himself and brought it to the room so we could eat on the terrace! The meal was absolutely excellent and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast the next morning was tasty and well prepared with a good number of options available. Overall, highly recommended."

Great base to explore the national park whether you are a seasoned trekker wanting to leave some luggage before a multiday hike or a family trip up the chairlift"

"It is an older establishment but seems to be well maintained. It has a very nice English style pub,.but unfortunately it was only open on Friday and Saturday, but we had a very nice breakfast there in the morning. Its a small town business, so if you arrive late be prepared to call someone to be checked in. Fortunately there was a gentleman inside and opened up for us as soon as he saw us. Very freindly and quick check-in and free parking around back of the hotel. Lots of shopping malls within a 30 second to 3 minute walk and restaurants within steps of the front door. Great location."

"We were made to feel welcome at check-in and given help with directions to sightseeing in the Senja region as well as a great place to eat in nearby Finnsnes. A spacious room in fairly simple accommodation was suitable for our one night stay and the continental breakfast was good. Block-out curtains would have been nice."

"We had a very nice over night stop, the kitchen facilities were great!! The room was a little too small, no where to put clothes so had to keep opening and close suitcases but not enough space to leave them open. Had to put them against the room door and moving them each time we went out. It is an amazing location. "
