Barcillonnette Trip

We upgraded to a remodeled room once we arrived. The room was ok, some of the plug ins / USB ports didn’t work, the A/C was so loud it was hard to sleep. During our last night an evacuation alarm went off after we were asleep. We had to go down 21 flights of steps (the last two floors were covered in garbage and urine) and found out it was a false alarm. It was a confusing mess. I would not stay here again.

My room was outstanding and the hotel was not crowded with people. Never made it into the pool but it was nice and large. Food and the restaurants were confusing; the main restaurant closed at noon? Weird. A more relaxing atmosphere compared to the hotels on the strip.

The hotel is nice and has great amenities but the front desk staff can be a little rude. They charged our credit card 166 with no notification and did not show on our room account. When we went to the front desk they said it was a smoking fee. We don’t smoke, vape, light candles etc. the gave us the report that showed the time of the incident at time we were not even in our room. They removed the charge but if we didn’t get alerts from our credit card company we would not have know about this charge.
