If you think a monks sell your clothes. The location while central was impacted by street construction. There was also some type of a pulsing noise going on in the evening. I think it was expensive for what I got, but it was much less expensive than taking a small room at a hotel with a bath and a toilet included. I don’t mind sharing. the TV didn’t have cable, but I didn’t go there to watch television rather to be a tourist. It was a safe neighborhood, but there was informal parties going on in the parking structure across the street till about 3 o’clock in the morning, which was somewhat noisy there were a number of pots to boil water, and a microwave on the floor. There was no safe or refrigerator in the room.

I really like the location because made walking around very easy. The employees were very helpful and friendly as well. The place was pleasant and clean. The only thing, I would like to suggest is new automatic doors a bit less noisy than those ones but overall was a good stay and good place as well.

The rooms are small..The noise is pretty bad especially if people are walking about at 1/2am..The doors make a huge noise so trying to sleep is pretty hard..

Unfortunately I can’t let a good review here. Because the minimum you expect from a accommodation is that in the next day you will wake up less tired than you slept (regarding here the services offered by this accommodation). I stayed in two different rooms on the first floor of this place for 7 days and there wasn't even 1 day out of those 7 days that I could get a good night's sleep. Because the doors they have make such huge and loud noise (it’s incredible loud), that every time someone comes in (and that can be in the middle of the night, and it happens a lot when talking about Barcelona) you will hear it. Even if it is you coming in, it is impossible that you won’t disturb the others because of those really old loud doors. I think changing those doors would really make it a better place, or at least a place to sleep. And also there are some strange noises from water and from the old elevator. And I don’t think the situation is different on the other floors, I think it’s all the same. So caution, be careful! If you want a place to at least get some sleep, this is definitely not your place. I recommend investing a little bit more somewhere else. Which is what I should have done, but when I went to see it, it was too late! Because they also says when you are there, that you can’t cancel it so easy with the Expedia. So you have to stuck with that, or loose all your money that you had already paid. I wish I had read that recommendation of someone else here! ;)

We are very sorry you didn’t get a good rest in our place. Our doors were made in terms of security and that is why they are solid. So, they are sturdy in order to ensure that they remain closed. On the other hand, it is true that doors slamming shut can be annoying. Unfortunately, the noise depends on the other guests you share your stay, and we have no total control over this. About your recommendation to invest more, we can only say that we have already got 636 reviews (being considered all the websites) and in the vast majority of cases our guests enjoyed their stay.

Location excellent, near metro, lots of food outlets and theatres, walkable to Harbour and Las Rambalas Rooms re-furbished, comfortable mattresses, safe and fridge. Rooms have balconies onto the street so a bit noisy. Perfect temperature in September, has heating for winter but may be a bit hot in summer.

Convenient location and affordable
Hotel is super close to Parallel metro. Super convenient to get around. Friendly staff. Basic room, hard to complain at the price. I booked a room with a private bathroom. Only downside was the water was hot for about 2 and a half minutes. I would just use the communal shower next time.

Excellent short stay
I stayed one night on my own in a single room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms were close by my room and always free when I wanted to use them. Friendly welcome, I was able to leave a bag after checking out, all was fine with the stay

Okay for price. The woman on reception was kind and welcoming. Unfortunately the room smelled like cigarettes and was extremely stuffy. It looked as if it was being aired out when I got there as the window was wide open. The air con was just a standing fan which I had to keep on all night to keep cool, so quite noisy. No fridge. Tea but no milk. Good location but probably wouldn’t stay again. Sorry.

Excellent location, high-ceiling spacious room with a sink in the room, and friendly reception staff. This is a pension so the shower and toilets are shared in the hallway but I never had to wait to use them and they are very very clean

Booked for 3/6 nights & glad I did not book for all 6 nights. I would never stay there again! I checked in late-about 1 AM. The man at reception desk took me to a room & it reeked/smelled of cigarette smoke! On the inside of door to room; there's a sign, in 6 language. English "it is forbidden to smoke." However, the room was unacceptable. I do not smoke & the stench of a room was terrible. Since the employee's English was not good-it was difficult getting the message across to him that the room was unacceptable. I had to pinch my nose -to get the message across. He caught on and went to reception to change rooms-while I waited in the hallway with no chair to sit on! He showed me another room-it was ok. Showed me the room including the private bathroom. When I booked for 3 nights-I knew that I booked room with shared bath and was surprised that he gave me a room with private bath. Also,the man did not give me a key/card for the room-I thought that key/card didn't work? The man NEVER told me-in understandable English that the room I was given was for one night only! When one checks in for more than one night, one would expect to be given the same room & room type booked. Morning, David knocked at my door and wanted me out of the room and right away!I had not yet showered! I told David that the man who checked me did not tell me that I would be moving but according to David he did and he does not lie! So David called me a liar! David was RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! I do not recommend

Thank you for writing a review. We are sorry you did not have a positive experience during your stay here. Our version of events is: 1. As the previous guest broke our rules and smoked in the room, we aired it during the day. It seems was not enough. 2. After midnight, we look for a quick solution so the guest can rest and also in order to prevent nocturnal noise. We did not have another single room with shared bathroom available for the three nights. The receptionist decided to give you one room better than the one you booked and told you first thing in the morning you must come to the desk and check if you have to move or you can keep the room. 3. He speaks fluent English and he has a certificate to prove it. 4. When I arrived at 8am I checked the reservations. The room you slept was not available. I was waiting you to come for telling you that, but you did not do it. 5. Next guest could check in from midday. This is why a co-worker knocked your door at midday. There was not answer. She did it again at 12:30h and you did not answer at all. Finally, I went myself to the room to speak with you. 6. Since you opened the door, you were yelling at me so it was difficult speak with you. Your behavior was bad enough to ask you to leave. I kept calm in order to solve the situation. 7. Later at the desk the owner offer to you another options (update your room, even refund..). After all, you finally kept the original reservation and move to a single room with shared bathroom. You stayed two more nights with no complaints.

Great place to base your visit!
Great location, great staff! When I return, I will definitely stay here again. Bathroom was super clean and never had to wait for anything. Lots of great places to eat nearby. The metro is very close. Overall, I highly recommend!

La ubicación es buena, cerca a la L3 Paral-lel. El cuarto personal es minimalista, lo necesario para dormir, tomar una ducha y salir el resto del día. Poca ventilación, eso sí.
