Staff has no compassion. I had originally booked 4 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the political protests and riots that were going on in Barcelona. I had to be closer to Barcelona due to the limited transportation and to be closer to family. I asked the front desk employee if I would be able to get a refund for the 2 nights that i was unable to stay, he told me to contact hotels.com , which I did and the hotel still denied a refund due to the emergency. I understand they may have had a no refund policy, but due to what was going on in that country they could have had a little more compassion.
