Good room and location. The shower lets water under the door into the walk way. Strange that shower is not connected to bathroom but it's not a huge deal.

Absolutely loved the Terrace. At the end of the day before heading out to dinner we enjoyed wine and conversation with other travellers. The staff at reception, especially Alex and Irene were so welcoming, helpful and took the time to chat. The breakfast space and cleaning staff kept the property impeccable and running smoothly. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there.

Loved everything about this hotel! Location is perfect (close to train stations and bus stops, walkable to lots of restaurants, shops, attractions), rooms are cleaned every day, their lounge area is complete (nespresso, utensils, pastries), and the complimentary welcome wine (redeemable 1x per person) is such a nice gesture. 10/10 highly recommend!

Although the rooms are a bit tight, there’s ample space in the lobby or terrace if you need to spread out. They do wine tastings and are super helpful. And the location is delightful

We were so happy with this stay!! Not only was the lobby a wine bar (woohoo convenience) but the room was nice, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was great! We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

A good place to stay
I enjoyed the stay. I liked the location as it is central but slightly back from the throngs of tourists in the Gothic Quarter. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the streets immediately around the hotel. The room was nice, as were the staff.

Though the room is really tiny for two people and bare bones, it is totally sufficient, clean and comfortable. Hotel is cute and staff is excellent. Ac works well. Just note that our room was in the front of the building across the street from a club that closes at 4:30 am, so every morning I was woken up as the club goers were leaving and milling around outside. Other than that the location is perfect, close to the Gothic Quarter but far enough away from all the crowds and noise.

Great location staff and sommelier however for the price the room lacked basic amenities like free coffee tea or a kettle / fridge etc. The safe was not working plus rooms were on the smaller side for the price.

Hotel was situated in walking distance of all districts and attractions. The room was very clean and the bed linens and the bed were of top quality. The breakfast was very good and staff were always available.

The room was small and the bathroom a little awkward but we didn’t mind. The facilities were clean and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed having a glass of wine with expert recommendations from the staff and enjoyed breakfast nice and early before heading out. I’d absolutely stay again.

Great stay
Beautiful place to stay. Location was decent, but wish we were closer to the beach/Gothic quarters as almost every restaurant where we were served the exact same menu to cater to tourists. That was the only downside. Otherwise, great bed and shower, and nice greeting with a complimentary glass of wine.

Great boutique hotel very well located in Barcelona with a unique ambiance. The rooms are small but I loved it! I would stay there again in my next trip to Barcelona.

I loved this place. Everyone was very friendly and it’s such a nice vibe. All the employees were so nice and helpful. I absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again. Everything is so close and you can find taxis right away aswell if you choose to go out farther.

Although TV was offered, most channels were never available - no signal. Despite someone coming up, the issue never resolved. We were told that they should be available, but they were not which was disappointing. Facility was clean and staff courteous. Had some charges on our account that were not ours, but staff reversed them without hesitation.

Always love staying here. I first came back in 2014 and it’s just as wonderful as before. Bedding and towels are always clean, love the rain head shower, location is easily accessible to multiple metro stops and areas. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

Great stay at Hotel Praktik. The room was exactly as described and seen in the photos. It was small, but we were on vacation and hardly used in the room. Washroom was nice and very clean. Having a safe was also an added benefit. All the stay were extremely friendly and offered welcome drinks and luggage storage if you arrive before check in. I would stay here again and recommend to those not wanting to pay top dollar for a nice hotel.

Wonderful hotel! I'd first like to thank the staff. Each and every person working there was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Even before arrival I contacted them several times and they responded very quickly. During our stay they helped us with recommendations and directions, etc. Exceptional customer service! The hotel itself is lovely. The wine theme was great and the decor is fun. After a very long hot day walking around the city you can look at the very extensive wine list get a glass or a bottle. We really enjoyed the cava. The rooms were very clean (great cleaning ladies). The size of the rooms were pretty standard for European standards, smaller by North American standards, but I didn't find it too small. Nice high ceilings. We had enough space for our needs. Comfortable beds and pillows. Strong wifi. Location was great. A short walk to La Rambla. Quiet. Our room face the street which I was concerned about, but the hotel has very good glass doors to the little balcony that are quite effective in canceling out almost all the noise. I only heard the club across the street one night, but used my white noise app to drown it out. You could request a room that faces the back if you're an extremely light sleeper. Overall, a fantastic stay and I can recommend this place enough! Thank you Hotel Praktik Vinoteca!!
