"The family that runs this BnB are wonderful. They put together the most wonderful breakfast with fresh and delicious variety of choices. They hand-bake the croissants and the cakes for each morning and homemade yogurt. Everything is just amazing! The terrace is a beautiful place to spend time and catch sunshine while overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It is also a short walk to nearby wineries. However, you can also book tours that take you to multiple sites. Walking around the village is nice too. It is very quiet. A few nice shops are there and also an art gallery!"

"This stay was in a wonderful b&b in a charming village. The room was great with very helpful and thoughtful service. Easy and free parking 5 min walk (outside the ZTL). I would definitely recommend staying here. Make sure you check out the restaurant next door while you do!"

"1) The descriptions are not clear about this property. The rooms are a 5-minute drive away from the main building 2) If you need a housekeeping service, you need to pay 60 euros for each day! And you need to throw your trash into the bin outside the property. They won't help you! 3) If you need to use the small gym( a few equipment), you need to pay 25 euros per person for each day! 4) The hotel staff were generally so rude! They are ready to argue with you 5) LEAKING ROOF! If you are going on a rainy day, be careful, you can wake up with water drops The good part 1) The breakfast was good 2) The hotel was clean 3) The view was good, but you can have the same view from the different hotels. "

"Poggio Alle Lame is a superb find. Incredibly warm and welcoming host and team, comfortable rooms, with air con, WiFi and all that jazz. It’s quiet, peaceful and rustic. If you’re looking for ultramodern glass and chrome - keep looking! But if you’re looking for comfortable, stylish, authentic Italian country hospitality, look no further. The setting is beautiful, a quiet hill top not far from a small town. There’s a fine, shady terrace to take breakfast and the fabulous home cooked dinners. Try the wine and oil produced on the estate. There’s a pleasant pool with loungers, shades, fine views over the Tuscan hills or just watch the lizards frolicking and basking. It’s 45 mins to downtown Firenze and about the same to Siena. A special word about Beatrice - owner and host. She’s fabulous, a forza of nature and an amazingly attentive and welcoming host. Highly recommended - you won’t regret it! "

"We had a fabulous stay! Absolutely stunning grounds, amazing pool and pool area and our apartment was so well equipped. Very luxurious! We very much appreciated the bottle of wine and Olive oil from the estate and would have loved to do the winery tour if it weren’t for having the kids with us! We felt we managed the perfect balance of relaxation with getting out and about and visiting places, it is in a great location to be able to do this. The only couple of points I would suggest is more regular towel change would have been appreciated and a long handled brush or vacuum cleaner as 6 days without being cleaned (cleaning is weekly) is a long time with kids! "
