Absolutely stunning hotel in every way. Superb staff, huge room with really comfortable beds, fabulous views, excellent food. We were a group of 5 and spent 4 nights and would have loved more. There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. Very handy stop 1 mile from motorway exit. Pool to cool off the family. Good size of room and bathroom with walk in shower. Food was exceptional for such a small place (@ 20 rooms). Set menu with 1/2/3 course options or à la carte. Breakfast has good choice of self service options, including hot dishes. Reception by owner and his wife as chef means they really are invested in your stay. Add this place to good stops on a drive to/from Spain.
