Modern hotel. Its location is convenient for everything right on the harbour front. Breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful view from the room. The room layout was just stunning, what a experience seeing the northern lights from our bed!

Quite remote and very calm and serene. Excellent place to see the Northern Lights if the weather is clear. If Northern Lights is your goal then you probably should stay in Tromso City and book a van tour that drives you around to the best location for viewing depending on the conditions.

The hotel is in an excellant location and right on the harbour within walking distance of most attractions. Buses stop nearby and the airport express stops right outside. Breakfast was well stocked and had hot and cold food. Room was cleaned at your request and you only had to ask if you needed anything. Myself and my grandson had a lovely stay

This is the NICEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I have stayed twice. The staff are amazing the breakfast plentiful with an evening meal as well. Right in the centre of town. Just a perfect place.

Clean comfortable room, with friendly staff

Hotel was 5 minutes walking distance to all Tromso attractions. Staff very helpful and condition of hotel was excellent. Room was big enough for what we wanted and bathroom was great - shower always had very hot water which is what we needed after being out in the cold. The bathroom floor was heated so any water from flush floor shower dried quickly and heated floor was great for thawing out your toes after a day out in sub zero temperature. This place is amazing, as long as you are not (like me) a creature that thrives on all the corporate trappings of large chain hotels. If you want to get away from it all and experience the real beauty and tranquillity of northern Norway, then this is where you come. The views are breathtaking, it’s peaceful and well off the beaten track. Your hosts will make you feel welcome and serve you with authentic Norwegian home cooked food. Alternatively there are some self catering lodges you can stay...

The room was ideal for a short stay. The staff accommodating and the food ample. The lift was broken requiring quite a climb to the top floor but it was actively being repaired during our stay.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The place was very clean, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—definitely better than a hotel. It’s within easy walking distance of everything, and it made our holiday in Norway one of the best we've ever had. We highly recommend pre-booking your stay and asking for a sea view, as these options aren't available on some booking sites like Expedia, but can be arranged separately. We used the Get Your Guide app to book tours, and it made the trip even more amazing....

The hotel was warm and welcoming from the start. We had a standard room that was perfect. The hotel provide towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel along with hand wash and hand cream. The breakfast buffet it out of this world with all you could want. The complimentary hot drink and cake in the afternoon is a welcome touch and the evening meal was great too (saves you a fortune eating out). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Excellent hotel and facilities for the price. Although the hotel is away from the city centre. Bus No 20 will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes. The bus stop is just below the hotel.
