Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. Lovely hotel right on the side of the Loch a 30 minute walk into town, but has a great restaurant and bar on site. Fab for Loch side walks, parking on site and free

Superb luxury hotel .. right on the Loch yet 20 miles or so from Glasgow . Very top end spot yet totally unpretentious . Lots of restaurants and bars , great well appointed room and a common theme of professional staff in all areas of the hotel . I booked this for a surprise birthday gift, my friend is from Norway and he absolutely loved it. It's like having your own private apartment, the room was spotless and cleaned every day. Good facilities, coffee machine, kettle with choices of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, small fridge in the room with two bottles of water, comfortable bed and the shower was fantastic. Just few minutes to the central of Glasgow. Very convenient but the city is very dirty.

Central, newly refurbed, car park nearby, good value only downsize is that it said it was dig friendly but the cost is £30 per night per pet, so dog slept in the car...

Staff were so nice and very helpful from time we arrived. Hotel had been recently upgraded and was lovely, very clean and fresh. Bed was a dream, so comfortable. Everything on doorstep. Shops and restaurants galore. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous little find. I booked not realising standard rooms shared the main bathroom. When I arrived it was no problem to upgrade. Breakfast was delish and staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend this stunning Guest house

The room was clean and spacious enough. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nothing seemed too much. It was perfect proximity to the Hydro and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay there again

Fantastic stay at the Apex in Glasgow. Stylish surroundings, good breakfast and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Will certainly stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Only thing we had a issue with would of been the temperature of the room being far too warm. We were unable to turn the heating down due to it being set to 21. But overall we had a good time.

An excellent small hotel in a rather grand Victorian house on the main road in Callendar. Easy walk into town. Great base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Stunning scenery. Recommend going to Lock Katrine, it is beautiful. Loch Lomond was best on its east side, the west side is nearest Glasgow and attracts a lot of people in the summer.
