"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience, though there were definitely some highlights. The newly renovated rooms were absolutely fabulous, modern, clean, and very comfortable. They clearly put a lot of thought into the renovation, and it really shows. However, the older part of the hotel could really use some TLC. It felt quite dated in comparison and didn’t match the standard of the newer rooms. On the positive side, breakfast was good with a decent selection, and the staff were consistently very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference. Overall, a pleasant stay, especially if you’re lucky enough to be in one of the refurbished rooms."

"Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good."
