"This is a wonderful guesthouse! We stumbled upon it at the last minute as a decision to escape the city for a few nights. The receptionist was very friendly and a we were running late for checking in she made sure that our room key was held at the restaurant attached to the inn. The restaurant is a must try too! "We have to open the window because room got very hot, just to find out there was a stair outside the window were anyone can get inside our room in the middle of the night, also room was very basic, old tv, carpet and nothing else. "We spent only one night, arrived late, there are no signs anywhere, took us some time to find the hotel. The parking is a little difficult to find. Otherwise the hotel was very clean, comfortable, the restaurant good, but didnโ€™t take credit card for the dinner for some reason, but at checkout they did. There also is a little bit of language barrier..But you get what you pay.."

Great hotel for great town stay.
"Fantastic hotel and very best position for doing all that Weimar has- all the buses pull up in the tree-lined street (Goethe Strasse), could walk from station but just 2 easy bus stops. Restaurant meals elegant and good, staff very helpful and friendly, room elegant and large, cooking facilities with utensils on request, we didnโ€™t end up using but all delivered on request. Spotless and serviced daily. Access to town sights, bars, restaurants etc just minutes stroll and utterly picturesque. Town full of serious museums and historical houses/places with amply, expert, English commentaries and guides. A civic education but also beautiful park by the small river. Hotel is excellent choice."
