"A brilliant havelli hidden away in backstreets only a short distance from both fort and clock tower. The host family are incredibly helpful, keen to help arrange any activities or offer any other information as well as welcoming drinks and snacks. The evening thali meal upstairs is amazing, and the situation right under the fort with spectacular views is unbeatable. Highly recommended. We are a family of 5 with young teenagers, and in 2 days we fitted in a cookery class in a real Indian home, a jeep trip out into small villages observing local handicraft work including pottery making and textile rug weaving, as well as spotting local wildlife, a walking tour of the oldest part of the blue city and walks around the fort and other sites."

"We stayed 5 nights here, after booking on hotels.com for a room with AC and WiFi. It's by far the cleanest accommodations we've had in India (we've been here 2 weeks and have been to Dharamkot, Chandigarh, Jaipur). There's a restaurant on site, which we had for dinner on the first night. There are multiple levels of rooftop with amazing 360 view of the blue city, the fort, and other mosaic tile rooftops. We felt the breezes in the middle of summer, which is so welcome since low was 86F and high of 108F. We hear the music and song of chants from the various temples. Overall, we felt very lucky to have found this place."
