We say here a few time a year the price is great the staff is good. Breakfast is great. Rooms are decent. The property is clean and quiet. Only reason for 4 star is pool was closed which is one of the main reason we stay

At first glance the room was nice, clean and spacious. But on closer examination it's age showed. No outlets available to plug in a phone charger or PC. Air conditioner worked fine but several of it's control buttons were punched through. At the bathroom sink the basin had deep scratches and looked like someone tried to fix it with a paintbrush. The water coming out of the spigot had a strange effervencence (tiny bubbles) unless you let the cup settle for several minutes. Washcloths were good size but worn out - thin enough I could see my hand through them.

Roaches everywhere I stayed for 5 days and the room was never cleaned. This was originally named Super 8 hotel. They just changed the name. Find another place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is clean and well maintained and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also good. Coffee was good and not watered down. I would recommend this hotel if you need a place for a night or two on a budget.

The property was horrible, room smelled like mold, furniture was old and in bad shape, tv was new and got all the channels, people staying there were druggies, one guy approached me and asked me if I could charge his phone, my stay for one night was horrible as I couldn’t sleep because there was a fight between two guys that lasted the whole night, they were loud and banging walls and doors, the elevator was dirty and the walkways leading to the rooms were dirty as well. I will never book this hotel again. Don’t let the pictures deceive you!

The room was not very clean we had to get maintenance to change a light bulb and behind the bedside table was filthy. Popcorn ceiling. We photographed 3 cockroaches in our room the reception said they were common in the downstairs rooms? Very noisy you can hear everyone moving upstairs. Breakfast wasnt ready for us. The room had all the amenities its just they were very dated.

Got a room tv not working was very dirty asked them to fix the tv they couldn’t come up to fix it moved us to another room tv didn’t work in the new room the toilet had waste in it pee candy wrapped left on the night stand water from sick was coming out cloudy and white afraid to take a shower was noisy people arguing at 3 am kids running around everywhere didn’t sleep well I would not recommend staying here Room was dirty

My stay at the Super 8 Convention Center Premiere Hotel in Bakersfield was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Kal and his incredible team made it clear that guest care is their top priority. I had injured my back on the way there, and without hesitation, they went above and beyond to place me in a room that was not only comfortable but thoughtfully accommodating—making it easy for me to get in and out without added strain. The room itself exceeded expectations—clean, well-kept, and genuinely relaxing. But what really stood out was the attention to detail throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t just your standard fare—it included fresh grilled waffles, muffins, and hot coffee that actually tasted fresh and satisfying. In fact, one of the front desk staff members kindly made my waffle for me, which perfectly captures the level of care and hospitality here. The location is another huge plus. Within walking distance, I found several fantastic dining options. I enjoyed fresh mahi mahi from a nearby restaurant and an incredible avocado and chicken protein bowl that easily rivaled meals I’ve had in much bigger cities. Every staff member I encountered was helpful, friendly, and genuinely invested in making my stay better—from check-in to check-out. It’s rare to find this kind of consistent service. And they have a POOL! Trust me—I’ve done the research. If you’re staying in Bakersfield, this is the place. You won’t regret it.

My experience was beyond what I expected. The hotel is the economy range price range but exceeds in service to make it a comfortable stay. Continental breakfast and coffee every morning. It served my needs perfectly. Great location for restaurants and inshape, planet fitness gyms.
