"Staying at the Hourglass was comfortable and clean. The breakfast included is a great bonus, with many coffee options/ tea, danishes, cereal, yogurt, fruit. The shower was lovely. Some rooms have soaking tubs only (no shower). Air conditioning was welcome (though there was a bit of the Bakersfield farmland smell). Pool and hottub outside is great"

"I was definitely expecting something a little less than what I got because it was so inexpensive.for but it was extremely nice nice place nice pool and especially nice receptionist. It was a little loud at night but besides that it was a very safe place."

"From the outside it may feel a bit deceptive, but once I stepped into my room I was truly surprised on how maintained and clean the place was, I had good customer service as well! For my first time ever experience, I was truly over all happy to see that looks don’t do it justice, be aware you’re getting what you pay for so that’s why I feel like I have to say that is was aware and to my surprise I was met with a pretty chill environment! "
