We were delighted with firstly the location of the hotel, opposite the most beautiful park & five minutes walk in to Caldas.The breakfast was amazing with lots of hot & cold choices, we looked forward to the lovely coffee too. Our beds were so comfortable, the room plenty Big enough & quiet. The staff were so helpful too could not do enough for us. Don't think twice about booking through Sana, we will be back or sure....

I thought this hotel was very charming. As a biblophile myself I loved the dining room decorated with books from floor to ceiling and also the rooms upstairs. The foyer was even nice, this hotel has real character and my room was great with it's own small suntrap courtyard.
I thought the included breakfast was very good with many options and I did have a meal here on one night with live music, which I enjoyed, but I thought the food on the night let the hotel down somewhat I had the mushroom...

This is a truly charming, idiosyncratic, hotel next to the castle in Obidos. The management could not have been more helpful to us, both before and during our stay, helping us book the best restaurants (the hotel does not do lunches or dinners....it's essentially B&B) and giving us advice about the town. Location was excellent within the city walls in an historic building. Right in the heart of the old town. Lovely courtyard to sit in in the evening or have breakfast. It had everything we needed.
You have to park outside the city walls and wheel in your luggage but it's an ancient walled town and pedestrian so that's its charm.

We absolutely loved staying in the old priest house. The balcony overlooking the rear garden was a wonderful place to relax in the evening and first thing in the morning. The room was spacious and beautiful. The historical aspect of the house and Francisco's sharing of his family history along with a tour of the family art work was amazing. The chapel is beautiful. We loved the peacocks, goats and sheep in the rear garden and enjoyed meeting the baby ducklings, donkey and horse. Excellent...
