"I get why the owner rents this unit out. The noise from the outside machines are simply annoying and being a light sleeper, it was a terrible night. The bed and shower were both comfortable. The proximity to everything is hard to beat."

"This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. "Decent good location. My experience was the building is going a through top to bottom renovation so shouting workers, power tools and hammering starts at 7:30 going all day. I also had a problem with a malfunctioning lock keeping me out of the apartment for a couple of hours, owner didn't pick up the phone which I had to borrow.
