Good Hotel for a Night
It was a good Hotel for our 1 night stay. The rooms are OK. The service was actually quiet good.
Leider kein Lift. Hotel ist erst kurz vor der Gesamtfertigstellung. (KEIN Baulärm) Rezeption = 1 verlängerter Schreibtisch mit Leintüchern. Rezeption hat noch keinen Telefonanschluss usw. Trotzdem funktionierte alles perfect

Addis Amba Hotel
Overall the hotel was OK. Not bad for the price. The only things that I did not like: there were many mosquito's (luckily they had a net) and a stench in the bathroom (don't think it was mold, but some other unfamiliar and unpleasant stench).
The Addis Amba Hotel appears to be a good mid-range choice in Bahir Dar. At the time of writing the Kuriftu remains the best high-end option, but this newer hotel is a good value and probably the best choice in the $50-$75 range or those on business. The Jacaranda looked nice from outside, and may also be worth looking into. The good of the Addis Amba: decent location, attentive staff, excellent internet, clean room, new facilities. The average: restaurant. The bad: room infested with mosquitos, bathroom set-up with toilet underneath showerhead. Overall would recommend lightly given relative lack of better options in Bahir Dar.

Best Available
Though the hotel is not perfect, it is the best available in town. it has the basics, is clean and has a good staff. if you travel to ethiopia, you will not have luxury outide Addis so this is a good one for the city.
Neues Business-Hotel, etwa 1,2 km vom Tana-See (per Tuk-Tuk zur Boots-Marina in 3 Minuten, ca. 5-10 Birr = max.
