Fantastic location. The views are stunning. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. There is free parking and it's a very safe location, quiet and restful. All the rooms have air-conditioning and a TV. There is also a wellness centre. I haven't used it but have seen it and it looks very well maintained. Excellent service, good location. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent but a little pricey. The car park is situated at the sister hotel the “Belle Epoque”. Afternoon tea and breakfast were outstanding. The hotel kindly loaned us towels to visit the Thermal spa. The only slight issue is that there are about 10 stairs to climb before the lift, which could be a problem for some people.

A little difficult to find but certainly not to be overlooked. So let's see firstly on how to easily reach this hotel from the main Baden Baden Bahnhof. From the bus stop in front of the station, take #201 Lichentaler. Get off at Leopoldplatz stop, walk back about one block, then turn right at Mode-Wagener building. A very pleasant stay at this hotel on the outskirts of Bade—Baden, including a lovely meal sat outside in the Italian restaurant. We had a large room, and it certainly was (No9), with a roomy well appointed en-suite, and newly fitted aircon that was a godsend in soaring temperatures! First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully.
